Assessment of CFF (Climate Flexible Finance) readiness measures (Report 1): including • Public finance management systems to track and report climate finance through their government systems and provide assurance that funding is spent as intended; • Partner countries’ national climate change planning processes, documents and implementation plans; and 2. A capacity support programme (Report 2): • Country-specific needs analysis; • Consolidation of needs analysis,; • Identification of suppliers to meet the identified capacity support needs; and • Recommendations on design of the capacity support program. 3. Recommendations on management of Country Flexible Finance (Report 3): • Options and recommendations on the management and coordination of the overall CFF capacity support programme for all 15 countries and management of climate finance disbursed to initial priority countries. • Preferred indicators to track progress and monitor changes in a partner government’s budgetary systems.

This approved project achieved records including first single-country project of MFEM, first health and climate change project in the Pacific and the fastest funds disbursement done by GCF (i.e. 20 days) due to well-prepared Funding Activity Agreement and supporting documents.
Project name: Fiji Dairy Industry Development Initiative (FDIDI) Client: New Zealand Aid Programme, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) Project period: Fri, 01/07/2016 - 12:00 - Tue, 30/03/2021 - 12:00 Position: Programme Manager and Information Analyst Location: Central and Eastern districts, Fiji Deliverables Implemented the Fiji Dairy Development Initiative (FDIDI) from 2016-2021, working with the Government of Fiji and local industry stakeholders to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the dairy industry, with a particular focus on its smallholder farmers. FDIDI’s targeted long term outcome is enhanced growth and sustainability of the national dairy sector. FDIDI addressed the drivers for change, removal of critical constraints and provision of enabling support to stakeholders to achieve the targeted programme goal. Interventions are being delivered across two themes: a) Strengthened industry skills, knowledge, input supplies and advisory support; and b) Improved targeting of Government and industry support/ incentives.
